About

Having been Promotions Creative Director at Condé Nast Traveller for 6 years and then Creative Director at British Vogue for 7 years, and then a freelance art director in London for premium fashion brands for two years subsequently, you might think the look of the cake is the most important thing to me. Wrong! For me, it has to taste amazing too. Please book a cake consultation or one of the very popular postal cake tasting boxes and see for yourself.

After a lifetime of juggling photo shoots, clients, special little people (and of course my love of baking) I trained at Peggy Porchen in London where I quickly learnt this is what I want to be doing for the rest of my life. I have now turned my dream into reality and am creating wedding cakes from our home kitchen in the beautiful Toadsmoor Valley near Cirencester in Gloucestershire.

When not in the kitchen, I love gardening and growing a huge range of edible flowers and looking after our ever increasing brood of hens to keep up with the demand. Our oldest hens, Skullcrusher and Stroud Valley Sally, are still with us after 6 years.

Preferred supplier to Old Gore, Cripps Barn, Stone Barn, Elmore Court, Barnsley House, Calcot Manor and The Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury.

Other venues I have worked with:

Bittenham Springs, Caswell House, Cheltenham College, Clearwell Castle, Dauntsey House, Eastington Park, Egypt Mill, Euridge, Foxhill Manor, Hyde House, Kingscote Barn, Lapstone Barn, Manor By The Lake, Matara, Owlpen Manor, The Slaughters Manor Hotel, The Barn at Upcote, The Barn at Berkeley and Temple Guiting Manor.
