A sophisticated and very elegant three tier wedding cake decorated with fresh white flowers and greenery for a wedding at Magdalene College, Cambridge. The top tier was Pistachio and Vanilla, the middle tier was Lemon Heaven and the bottom tier was a classic Victoria Sponge.

This was for a fun editorial shoot I was asked to be part of (my first one for cakes!) that was published on Rock My Wedding. Fantastic photographer Marcus Rice (marcusricephotography)

For the editorial shoot at Cornwell Manor I made two cakes. I wanted to experiment with making one of the pressed edible flower cakes with coloured icing - this time a soft blush pink - and also experimenting with smaller but taller tiers. This cake was 4”/7”/10” (which would serve 100 guests)

OXENFORD FARM, SURREY

Simple, yet extremely stylish, this three-tiered cake is finished with VV Rouleaux's wide leaf green velvet ribbon and decorated with generous sprigs of gypsophila.

If you would like a semi-naked cake but also want a flavour that is quite a dark sponge, I can use a bit more icing on those tiers so it all ties together and doesn’t look odd. For example the top tier of Meera’s cake was gluten-free chocolate and the bottom tier was Decadent Chocolate.

A three-tier version of the “Susie” semi-naked cake. Olive garlands wrapped around the base of the tiers with fresh roses - a classic timeless choice!

What a great photo of this three tier pressed flower cake! I grow a lot of the flowers for these cakes at home and then press them in flower presses for six weeks. They are completely bespoke so you can choose which colours/style etc.

A beautiful selection of flowers can really make a cake sing! Rather than having small clusters on the sides of the cake I wanted them to tumble down in a cascading fashion for this one.

This beautiful three tier (slighter taller and narrower than usual) pressed edible flower cake really was centre stage at this wedding. It was great that the guests got to see it from all angles as it was displayed on a table in the middle of the room.

An original cake for an original setting! Celia had seen the ‘Paloma’ cake on my website and wanted something similar but with her wedding theme flowers - pretty pinks, lilacs and creams.

An English Summer cake! Victoria sponge tiers baked with fresh blueberries layered together with mascarpone icing with fresh crushed raspberries. Very light and utterly delicious.
